In February 2018 the Board of Directors of the Multidisciplinary European Low Dose Initiative (MELODI) has adopted a consensus decision on the RPI membership in this European Platform dedicated to low dose radiation risk research.
The RPI is a signature party of the EU Open Project for the European Radiation Research Area (OPERRA) Consortium Agreement.
The RPI is also a long-standing member of the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS), which is a non-profit association for promoting research, development, and European cooperation in the field of the dosimetry of ionizing radiation and includes more than 70 European institutions.
The RPI staff are members of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and its Task Groups.
